About us
We
- meet on the first Wednesday of each month, at 7.30pm, at Furze Down School
- regularly host a range of interesting speakers as well as finding time for tea & a chat
- belong to The Chase Group, where we enjoy additional events
- support many County and National events.
What we do
In addition to monthly meetings, we have lively special interest groups, which meet between meetings. At the moment, these include:
- Craft (fortnightly/monthly)
- Badminton (weekly)
- Green Gym (weekly)
- Book Club (monthly)
- Discussion group (monthly)
Some previous fund raising events include
- murder mystery evening
- fashion show
- barn dance
- cookery and flower arranging demonstrations
- Christmas Tree Festival
- quiz evening
- and loads of sociable ‘foodie’ community based events
Visitors & new members are warmly welcomed to all our meetings.
