Winslow’s Farmers Market goes from strength to strength.
TRADING HOURS: 10am to 2pm on the first Sunday or each and every month (keep your eyes open for our reminder boards in the week before each market)
LOCATION: Market Square, Winslow, MK18 3AB
On the left you will find details of all our regular traders, and a few that attend on a seasonal basis. As you can see we have a good range of produce all produced in the local area - some travelling less than a mile to Market! If you contact the traders direct, please mention that you have got their details from this website.
Each month there is a "community stall" - given to a Winslow organisation, free of charge to promote or fundraise for their organisation, in return for assistance with setting up and taking down the market.
We endeavour to have some form of music based entertainment each month - once again all locally sourced! and if you are visiting friends abroad and are looking for present ideas we have a small range of Winslow Farmers Market souvenirs on sale at reasonable prices.
The real plus of the market is that it is a Community Event - all staffing is on a voluntary basis, and provided the weather is set fair the Market becomes a social event - buyers and sellers swapping news as well as recipes and purchases.
The Farmers Market is a joint venture between the Town Council and the Chamber of Trade - in addition to the market shops and restaurants are open on the first Sunday of the month - adding to the Buzz that is Winslow.
We hope you will enjoy visiting the market, and if you would like to help occasionally with the physical setting up and taking down of the stalls (8.30am and 2pm for about half an hour each time) the Town Clerk would love to hear from you clerk@winslowtowncouncil.gov.uk
